ABC News has posted excerpts from Barbara Walters' interview with Anne Heche, to be aired tonight on 20/20. Heche reveals that she was insane for the first 31 years of her life, including her entire three-year relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, the result of childhood sexual abuse by her bisexual Baptist church choir director father. She also claims that she used to have multiple personalities, and that her alter, "Celestia," was from another planet and could speak directly to God in a foreign language. More interview excerpts here. . . . Meanwhile, E! covers Heche's wedding last weekend and asks, "Do you think Ellen opted for the china or the his-and-hers towels?" . . . The week before the wedding, an item in Page Six quoted an unidentified Heche friend: "Anne's days as a lesbian have been purged from her memory. She has spent most of August running around with copies of bridal magazines, seating plans and photos of wedding cakes. Anne's wedding is a celebration of her re-entry into the world of heterosexuality."
