Quality dating and sex enthusiasm

These dating tips from a "high quality woman" have certain corners of the blogyverse in a tizzy. Is the author a self-righteous superbitch, or just confident and brutally honest? Probably depends on how feverishly you want to get into her pants. She doesn't sound like my type, despite being an atheist libertarian cardsharp, so I'll vote confident and brutally honest. And a witty writer.

Elsewhere on her blog she poses a dazeworthy question — What is the sex equivalent of "foodie"?

[I]s there (and if not, shouldn't there be?) a term for people who like sex as much as "foodies" like dining, cooking, etc.? Everybody has to eat, but not everyone enjoys it or obsesses about it as much as foodies. Almost everyone has sex (eventually!) and almost everyone enjoys it to some extent, but there are some people who enjoy it a lot more and prioritize it a lot higher in their lives than most others.

There should be a word for people who are more enthusiastic about sex than most, and interested in trying out new variations -- "sexie" won't cut it because that just looks like the adjective "sexy" misspelled, and "pervert" has such a negative connotation. I think "kinky" implies a specific fetish or taste, whereas I'm thinking more about general enthusiasm and interest in variety.

"Sex enthusiast"?

Good question. Most terms for "people who are more enthusiastic about sex than most" imply creepy obsession rather than sophisticated pleasure-seeking. In the vein of "sexpert", how about "sexpicure"?
