GOTMILF license plate banned in Washington

Michael Syravong, software engineer and totally rockin dude, lost his GOTMILF personalized license plate after two years on the road. The Smoking Gun documents the whole hilarious saga.

Asked for the meaning of GOTMILF, Syravong wrote, "Manual Inline Lift Fluctuator," which he would later claim was some kind of automotive gizmo. The 25-year-old software engineer's license plate choice was, amazingly, approved by bureaucrats who obviously never saw the film "American Pie" and were clueless about the acronym's real meaning.

And don't miss Syravong's letter to the state Personalized Plate Review Committee responding to complaints. The PPRC eventually revoked his GOTMILF plate, accused him of a crime ("making a false or misleading statement to a public servant") and apologized for any inconvenience.
