Crackdown on DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball nude patch

Videogame company Tecmo launched a preemptive crackdown on "nude patches" for the XBox game Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Adopting the music industry's "treat customers like criminals" approach, Tecmo administrator recently posted a threatening message on the company's user forums: "We're watching you very closely! Please do not post things that infringe copyrights and other legal issues. So far we're tracking one suspect, anybody care to be the second? Please do not post anything about Nude Patches and other hacked information or you will be punished to the fullest extent of the law." No such patch exists for now, but several XBox hackers have been working together and sharing information to build one.

Daze reader "seb" passes along links to three DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball nude screenshots: one, two, three. These could be evidence that "topless mode" really works (doubtful), the result of a working "nude patch" (maybe) or good photoshop jobs (most likely). Goto efnet and check out #xbins. type /msg xbins !list then log onto the ftp server it links you to and download the DOA xbv nude patch. You have to have a modded xbox to use it and you have to have DOA XBV copied to your hard drive.

A "modded" xbox is one where a chip (like the Matrix chip) has been installed onto the motherboard of the xbox. A "modded" or Modified Xbox allows for the use of copied video-game discs. In the process of copying (i mean backing-up) a game, one can insert a few "modded" files that change elements of a game (bigger weapons, faster cars, no tan-lines, etc.) The whole process is not for the feignt of heart or technically challenged as it does require the opening of your system, which violates your warrenty and could render your Xbox useless if done incorrectly. As to those who are unsure of whether the "nude" patch for volleyball is real, search google, and you will find that it is, and the makers of the original game are upset about it.

Well as the owner of a fully modded X-box I can quite happily say that the chip is worth it. I've also taken the liberty of installing a new (and bigger) hard drive (Only 20 gig) and can now store games directly onto it, as well as run the patched "nude" volleyball. Well worth it.

I will say that I have seen with my own eyes that there IS a nude patch for DOA Xtreme Volleyball, and it is amazing! It is the baddestSOB I have ever seen, and the graphics are completely awesome! You will not be dissappointed -there is plenty of bush and nipple to satisfy your 14yr old needs. If you are too stupid to find the patch, try downloading Emule Plus 1g (or better), and get out of the dark ages dorks!!!!

But I'm just curious. How do you get the patch from your pc on to your Xbox hard drive? This is the only thing that confuses me. How is it done? And where can I get an Xbox mod chip?
