I don't think there was anything sexy about the ad, so if that is what he is going for, he failed miserably. The model's body was not particularly sexy, either. Wouldn't make me buy Gucci, and I am a buying fool, and that is the ad's biggest failure - if it can't reel ME in, it's a flop. Pretty much made me yawn and move on.
